Fill out the entry form to enter our quarterly drawing for a free spay or neuter for your pet! We will draw a winner at our board meetings in March, June, September, and December. The drawing is open to any resident of Franklin County. Please limit to one entry per household.

Reduced Rates for Spays for Low-Income Residents

The Franklin County Humane Society has a low-cost spay program for female dogs and cats that belong to qualified low-income residents of Franklin County. (
Neutering of male pets will also be considered for the program, but females will get priority depending on the available funding.) Click for details:

Our Low-Income sterilization assistance program is partially funded by grants obtained from various sources each year, including (for 2010):

The Tennessee Animal-Friendly License Plate Grant

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee


The Franklin County Humane Society funds the costs not covered by these grants.  In 2010, we subsidized sterilization surgeries for 106 dogs and 62 cats belonging to residents of Franklin County.
